Result of OFT

Table reveals that 84 per cent of farmers said that what’s app messages sent in farmer's group were very appropriate to farmers problems. 78 per cent of the farmers had  high extent  of utilization of what’s app  technical information . Time based information was received by 89 per cent of the what’s app user whereas Visibility of the content in technical information was perceived by 92 per cent of the farmers under trial, hence it may clear that the technical information sent under “what’s app  technology” for dissemination of agricultural technology was fruitful, applicable and needful for the farmer.

 

 

 

The result revealed  that out of the total what’s app users , 52.00 per cent had high knowledge towards social media based technical information, followed by 41.00 per cent had medium knowledge and only 07.00 per cent were found in the low level of knowledge towards social media based technical information. The result also revealed that out of the total what’s app users , 61.00 per cent had medium perception  towards social media based technical information, followed by 28.00 per cent had high knowledge and only 11.00 per cent were found in the low perception  towards social media based technical information.

Table 1 reveals that, the need & time based information was received by 84 per cent of the farmers and message was understood by 82 per cent of the farmers and the applicability of the message was perceived by 76 of the farmers under trial, hence it may clear that the Advisory sent under “Kisan Mobile Sandesh” for dissemination of agricultural technology was fruitful, applicable and needful for the farmer.
